Sustainable Fashion Photographed in the Studio
As a Commercial Photographer based in Denver, I have had the privilege of working with local businesses to collaborate on building content. I am excited to share a glimpse into my recent work and the creative process behind it. Each project with a local business is a new opportunity to visually showcase the distinctive qualities that set them apart.
I recently worked with Zovadore, a brand local to Denver selling eco-friendly and quality clothing. We shot the e-commerce photos in studio and used the direct morning sunlight to frame the photos in interesting and unique ways. I was really inspired with this shoot and as the light kept changing I tried to find different ways to frame each shot. The models were gorgeous and I think the overall aesthetic feels really natural and elegant.
Collaboration is key in these ventures. Engaging with business owners and their teams allow for a richer story to emerge, one that is built on trust and mutual creativity. This partnership is essential in creating photographs that not only highlight the business’s offerings but also celebrate its role in the community.
The challenge and excitement lie in translating the intangible - the ethos of a business, the quality of a product, the ambiance of a space - into something tangible, an image that speaks volumes. Lighting, composition, and a keen eye for detail all play pivotal roles in this translation. The aim is always to produce visuals that not only attract attention but also stir an emotional response, compelling viewers to engage further with the business.
This endeavor to capture the essence of local businesses is more than a photographic assignment; it’s a celebration of the diversity and creativity that fuels Denver. The final phase of our collaboration, post-production, is where the vision truly comes to life. Through careful editing, I enhance the natural beauty of the photographs while ensuring they align with the client's branding and aesthetic goals.
