Jewelry, Accessories, and Product Photography

Recently I worked with the new Denver brand Merry Dove and photographed jewelry, shoes, and accessories on location in the RiNo area of Denver. RiNo has some cool graffiti and texture and also some areas closed to traffic so we headed there to work with the light during golden hour. We had two models and it was a whirlwind of switching out the accessories to try and get a little bit of everything before it got too dark. It was a fun project and nice to test out a few different ideas. I was also working with the Fuji GFX 100s which is my favorite camera at the moment.

Collaboration with clients is key to my craft as a Denver Commercial Photographer. It's in these partnerships that I find the most fulfillment, navigating the exciting process of transforming a client's concept into a striking photographic narrative. Each project, whether it's a detailed fashion editorial for a forward-thinking sustainable Colorado e-commerce platform or capturing the essence of a corporate team, begins with an in-depth conversation. These discussions allow me to delve into the client's imagination, understanding the scope and depth of what they wish to communicate through the visuals.

Attention to detail is paramount in every phase of the project. It’s not just about the beautiful clothes or the models; it’s about the mood, the atmosphere, and the emotions we want to convey through our images.

As an Editorial and Commercial photographer in Denver, I feel lucky to have ample opportunities to explore different areas of Denver. The city provides many opportunities to capture a different kind of urban appeal. We’re lucky here that we have those unique backgrounds and can use both the urban elements and then also have beautiful mountain scenery at our disposal.
