I recently worked with aspiring model Amber, capturing different looks for her modeling portfolio. We shot both in studio and on location in RiNo in downtown Denver.

Her photos turned out beautifully, but I was really inspired to shoot this athleisure look in areas around the studio. RiNo has such vibrant murals and artwork, there are really interesting spaces with a kaleidoscope of colors that breathe life into the urban landscape. The interplay of light and shadow accentuates the dynamic architecture, creating a stunning backdrop for candid moments and vivid details. I try to explore different areas of Denver when I shoot but I do tend to come back to this spot frequently, I usually find a new corner each time to make work.

I loved the combination of sunlight and hard shadow in this setup, her bright clothing and adventurous spirit really brought such a vibe to this session.
